Marcia M. Meis, Director of the Administrative Office of the Illinois Courts, has announced that Jonathan C. Ruud has been selected as an associate judge for the Fourteenth Judicial Circuit. The selection was made by a vote among judges in the circuit.

Ruud completed his undergraduate studies at Illinois Wesleyan University in 1999 and earned his Juris Doctor from Northern Illinois University in 2004. He is currently associated with Hanna & Ruud, LLC, located in Moline, Illinois.
