Chief Judge Michael B. Brennan has announced the reappointment of Bankruptcy Judge Timothy A. Barnes to another 14-year term. Judge Barnes currently serves on the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and his new term will begin after his current one expires on May 15, 2026.

The decision was made by the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
