The Bankruptcy Clerk’s Offices in East St. Louis and Benton will close early on Friday, March 13, according to an announcement released on March 12. The Benton office will close at 11:00 a.m., while the East St. Louis office will close at 1:30 p.m.

This temporary change affects those who may need in-person services at either location that day. However, the Case Management/Electronic Case Filing (CM/ECF) system will remain available for electronic filings as usual.

For individuals needing to submit paper filings during the closure, documents can be placed in the drop box located at the public entrance of each office. Both offices are scheduled to resume normal business hours at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, March 16.
